Just a litle sugestion ...

There are lot of collectors scattert over the guildwars landscapes.
A lot of them are weapon collectors.
And if Im right, they arnt being used all that much.
I know there are people who like to get collector weapons for there
hero's.
But the majority of the GW people like to get more rare items
(wich arnt to expensive any more) for there hero's.

Also there are some collectors for armor. To mine opinion only the collectors
that cary Max Armor (accept for those in pre) are used by players.

So I just had a idea, that I came up with due to the upcomming weekend.

Wouldnt it be nice to change some of these weapon collectors in Prophecies,
Factions and Nightfall to collectors with some kind of consumables like
some in Eye of the North. (honycombs)
It wouldnt be much of a change to mine point of view...You can hold the
things that yo have to colect (maybe some more than you need atm.)
But it would add something nice into the existing worlds.

The collectors that are around for example Prophecies jungle etc, are never
being used.
This would give al lot of players a new pleasure to roam these places ones more.

Just an Idea.

I'd like to see collectors act as simple merchants as well; lots of places have many mobs but no merchants to flog our, well, crap to. That is, the useless whites that mobs drop, not their droppings >.<

I have an idea: how about all suggestion/idea threads be started in Sardelac?

But yeah, it is a good idea. I'd also like to pitch in an idea to have the collectors all have different skins rather than just generic skins. Not necessarily rare skins, it can be all the more common skins, but it would be nice nonetheless.

Collectors with more "unusual" stuff would be nice, those odd bits of kit from proph +3 while -17^89 gear and weird -0.003 > 6/2 shields

Umm, no I don't! Could put that into English please?

What's a Prophecies plus three? And you want minus 17 percent damage while above 89% health? And when did minus three thousands become greater than three (or for that fact, three shields?)

OK, I lied. I kinda know what you are talking about, but some grammar (and complete words) may help make your point. Just a suggestion...

I guess, though weapon crafters need more of a change than this. Seriously, 5k + mats for some common skin? Who thought up that idea? Customisation's all they're good for.

Besides: there are many people who use the non-max armor collectors you know. It saves money untill you reach a place where you can buy max armor plus insignia's. I know I've used plenty to get weapons for guildies and friends.

Some collectors worth fixing:

* Prohecies ones with wands that have only one bonus. Add other one, even thou crappy.
* Add mursaat token collector, damnit!

* Generally useless collectors could carry rare materials of lower grade (steel ingots, etc ...) most max armor collectors were used to get armor and then salvage it for mats, we might as well return it. Lowbie collectors could trade comon materials.
* They could carry hard-to-trade-for weapon upgrades which have no place on player market or are at 1k-500gold basis. Elemental prefixes, Condition lengthening prefixes, Warding and Shelter suffixes, +1 martial weapon skill/20%, 20v50 or 20/hexed, 15/stance, 60hp/hexed etc etc .... anything that is worthless on player market, but which would help poor people a LOT, and which is actually usefull.

Oh please add the merchant function to those collectors that are in the middle of nowhere, so we can sell our junk to them and clean out our inventories!

It would be cool that each region had some consumables (like Vabbian wine in vabby) and each Collector had a second tab for 'common consumables of the area'.

For example, all Dwarves in the Northern and Souther Shiverpeaks would trade 25 Shiverpeaks trophies for Dwarven Ale.

Yep there are a lot of things we could think of wich we could give
collectors.
Few wishes of myself :

lets make collectors for weapon upgrades.
lets make collectors for salavage/ID kits upgrades
lets make collectors for consumables (porphecies) upgrades
lets make collectors for "more" headgear (like in GWen)
Lets make some hard to get things, like they did with the mini black moa chick.

Just a few examples what we could do with some collectors...
I know some of them are stil in use, but a lot are not, or have the same things
as a lot of other collectors.
Give the collectors a special place in the game by make them have things
wurth exploring for.
